    Mass Suggestion Part 3

    Content/Features End Game Boss (Level 50)
    I'd do this change because not everyone has a big crew or has crew members that play in their time zone all the time. Thus, being you should be able to do the boss with a party of 3-4 members. Once more bosses are added I would remove the ability to let party members do it on the current level 50 boss and apply it to another end game boss once added. Monsters/Bosses
    Monster and some of the boss movement speeds need to be adjusted to be faster.
    Currently monsters are so slow that they are easy to kite when no kind of challenge.
    End result is that they are given dashes and flickers but instead of giving each monster and boss the same type of mechanics; increase the movement speed of some of them or even let them use a buff that increases their movement speed slightly. Pve players live for a challenge in the Pve aspect and thus this will bring about one. Maps
    We need an actual map switch timer. People constantly spam map switch going back and forth between the same 2 maps. Why not add a 1-5 second map switch timer to slow down some of the spam switching? Marine Base as a safe zone which is there for a reason, but Pirates do not have 1. Make Marine Safe zone 1 of the tents and Make 1 of Pirate tents a safe zone. Relatively it should be the area where you spawn at. Projectiles
    Projectiles need to pass through party members, crew members, alliance members when fired unless both parties have pvp on. Projectiles constantly hitting your teammates and not passing through them to hit the enemy makes team fights harder for ranged classes as the skills stop short due to hitting their teammates. Miscellaneous
    Raise the cooldown to use the Dash Ability. It is currently 6 and is too free of a skill to use and has to big an impact on PVP. Reduce how heavy run speed is affected by the Agility stat

      Balance

    Soul Fruit/Weapon Class Changes Pt. 2

    Fire I recommend slightly nerfing the damage of the flamethrower but in return lower the mana cost and/or increase the tick rate. It should tick twice per 1300 MS Window (1.3 second) Flamethrower needs to turn into a skill that when used it last for "x" number of seconds instead of just being able to spam it as long as you got energy with no cooldown. Flame Bullets need to have a heavy damage reduction due to being able to be spammed for a VERY low energy cost. Currently can-do high damage with barely any cooldown or MP cost.

    Ice Give Ice a Passive Ability called Permafrost: This skill will apply a 2 second slow if you successfully land "X" amount of ice skills in rapid succession. "X" amount i will leave to the dev(s) to figure out the right amount. Make Ice Spikes effect a larger area/icon bigger Ice Trap - when you roll/dodge on top of an Ice Trap it shouldn't continue to work on you, but the trap should still get placed to hurt someone else. Currently even if you dodge on top of it, you can still get stunned if you remain on top of it. So, if people do stuff like Devil Slash + Ice Trap there is no avoiding the Ice trap even if you time the dodge/roll. Make Ice Sword duration to 45>60s

    Light Make Light sword bonus damage last 3 seconds longer making it 10 seconds instead of 7. When Light sword ends allow it to auto re-equip the last weapon you had equipped if it's still in your inventory. Star Rays should be run cast but self-stun.

    Fighter Lower the duration of Blazing leg from 60>45s to be similar to Ice Sword/Light Sword/Swordsmen Resolution Bone Breaker currently is a Targeted within 3 tile stuns. Meaning if the person is within 3 tiles, they can hit them, and it stuns them for 1.25 seconds. This stun should be removed, and the mana cost should be lowered from 30>20.


    Swordsmen Devil Slash's projectile icon needs to be made more visible. It also needs to give a 0.4/0.5 second cast time. Currently there is no way to counter/predict this skill is coming so it is hard to defend against it. It also stuns for 1 full second which is more than enough of a reason to give it a cast time.
    Lower Air Cutter Range to 8>6 Since Swordsmen Resolution boost all stats now it should get less time to land its bonus damage from 12>8 Increase the duration Swordsmen Resolution last to 45>60s to be equivalent to Fighter's Blazing Leg

    Leopard Upon Transforming Leopard Fruit users should strike fear into the opponents around them within 3 tiles all around them causing silence for 2 seconds.

    When Reindeer uses the level 10 ability, they should be able to keep it up as long as they want. It should drain 3 energy every 0.5 seconds 

    Sniper Sniper Cloak MP Cost needs to be raised from 15>18. Mandrake stun needs to be lowered back down to 0.5 simply because they have received a new skill that stuns.
    It needs to be lowered because currently if you land all 3 mandrakes on 1 opponent in close range it stuns the person for 3 seconds. if you lower it to 0.5 it will stun a total of 1.5 seconds.

    Titles/KDA - Rookie/Bounty Hunter/Nova/Super Nova/Pirate King/Fleet Admiral ect.

    I think Titles should show above/below your name in game and not just on the rep page.
    I also think that your KDA should be shown on the REP page much like the crew list does.
    Also how and when will the Pirate King/Fleet admirals be picked and are they going to be like Kages from nin or will they serve a different purpose?

    More Obvious Split In PVP

    I think the game needs to be more realistic in the way marines/pirates would act. Marines should not be able to pvp civilians or other marines without risking being kicked from the marines. Pirates should be enemies with marines, civilians and other pirates without an alliance. A pirate's life should be difficult, they should show up as enemies if they have been bloodthirsty (maybe a red border around them). Another idea would be a place to report pirate activity to marines to discourage pirates from constantly bullying newbies and others out of areas

    Jewel/gem socketing system

    For further progression for Levels 50+, I think weapons could use further progression, like socketing gems into them, to either add an effect or increase or add stats to it, for example you could socket and agi gem into your weapon for more movement speed, add gems to get more base stats or more damage to the weapon, gems can also have rarities, the highest level gems giving glow effects to your weapons or some kinda aura around your character, I’m thinking gems could be named Soul jewels to follow the already “soul” theme of the game, as for rarities I’m thinking there could be 5, being Common-rare-elite-legendary-divine as for the effects jewels could give could be, bleed gems, speed gems,crit gems,lifeste gems,slow gems,burn gems,freeze gems ETC this system could go many ways and could be expanded on allot.add for more long term progression and build variations in the game, over all a great system for both content and diversity. (Add on idea) Black smiths could also capitalize on this system making them ever more useful giving them the ability to craft them, and some being dropped by bosses/mini bosses and giving blacksmiths the opportunity to be the only ones to be able to socket them into a weapon this creates a sense of importance of having one you can trust in your crew, also only lvl 50+ blacksmiths can make these and get the materials to craft them to avoid Alts from being made just for this reason ~ Mirage

    Blink step is underwhelming

    Targetted ability to move to a target. This just makes you vulnerable.

    maybe gain some dodge or movespeed or attack speed for using it instead of just being in a vulnerable location.

    Anti- Power Abuse System

    Hi there, i have seen that curently in game there's close to no harm in the toxic behavior  about power abusing lower level players, as rewarding as power can be for those who have it, seeing players lvl 40+  going in zergs against players who are bellow 20  is a great no for new players since their agressors  don't have any kind of punishment for having that behavior, while they can't  do activities that they are supose to do at their curent level,  actually is quite the oposite, the agressors earn  by repeating this.

      I have a few ideas,  one of them is adding a level limit to pk, something like 5 levels of distance at max or something like that. I supose that the idea of pvp quests  is to  have a real incentive to pvp, killing low level people to complete their quests or gain rep doesn't make any sense, is a mechanic that pushes people in to abusing.

    Other way that it could work is as a demerit, if you ever kill someone that's bellow the distance of 5 levels from you, you actually loose progress of your quest or loose reputation, since  doen't make sense to your rep grown if you are not fighting against someone who can react to what you're doing.

    The game itself has its own barriers and having mechanics that allows to older players to push away new ones doesn't seem as a viable strategy gaming wise.
    Other way that could work as a less punishing way is that you should not receive death penaltys if you got killed by someone who is 5/10/20/30 levels ahead of you.

    Light Fruit

    Light Fruit is currently one of the most sought after in game right now and i must say after finally getting it, it hasn't changed from how it was in alpha.

    Which is supposed to be one of the fastest fruits out of them it's pretty slow and stationary.

    All of Light Skills are stand still cast with 0.5 or slightly higher cast times.

    Star Rays has a 0.5 second cast time as well as Flash Kick and Laser Kick.

    No reason the last skill "Star Rays" should have the same cast time as Flash Kick and Laser kick.

    Not only that but again they are all stand still cast times.

    Increase the time to use the damage bonus from light sword by 3 seconds

    When Light sword ends let it auto re-equip the last weapon you had equipped if it's within your inventory.

    I recommend deciding on the kit and choosing at least two of the skills to make run cast or have a slightly quicker cast.

    Daily Mission Downgrading

    I think it would be great if the daily missions from the bar could be downgraded in difficulty if the player does not want to complete the mission. The idea would comprise of a "I want an easier mission" option from the barman. When selected, the barman would give the player an easier mission than the one they currently have and reduce the reward from the mission.
    I think this would help players that are having trouble completing missions due to level of the mobs or difficulty with PVP. Some of us just want to get these missions complete, even if the reward is lessened!

    Expand peace mode or...

    Offer a cooldown bypass for a experience penalty. Feature could fade away at level 30?
    help players get into their grown bodies before being bodied all the time.
    Alternatively a way to reduce battle injuries rather through crafted medicine or food ect.

    Naval Warfare

    I was thinking to myself, which I do a lot at work. Wouldn't it be fun to just sail around a little with your crew-mates and engage in combat with marines and rival pirates?

    Ships with different boarding rams, sails, cannons.
    After enough Life is lost by the ship they can be rammed depending on the grade of ram.
    (example Pirate Ram+ can board a ship with 50% of its max life remaining)

    Even if the ship is superior it would not gurantee a win in the skirmish, as combat could play out between the players.
    Superior ship could apply a buff to the skirmish (Boarders buff)

    Crews with a loss streak could get some sort of comeback buff to keep players striving to break cold-streaks.

    Sokat Boss Room Chest

    This is a simple Idea,
    Make it that after you kill Sokat (lvl 50 boss) he don't drop any items but instead a chest that each player can loot from so the loot can be slit and not just one player gets the items, if their is no item drops then their can put a small number of berries in the box as a fail drop but the main idea is to do alway with the drop being based on DPS and make it that everyone have a chance to get something even if they are a Medic or Tank

    35+ SHOULD NOT HAVE PEACE MODE

    Its pretty annoying when 35+ can farm and easily outdamage mobs and bosses and get the drops. Peace mode should be left for the newbies and lower level players who need it, not be used by those who can outdamage lower level players via taking a newer players drops or mobs. It's abused by most higher level players who live on peace mode they use it everytime its off cooldown.

    [Job] Unfair balance

    Hello,

    There is actually 3 jobs in the game, and I am totally aware that it's far to be polished right now.
    So why not allowing people to switch once per day their job in case they picked the wrong one ?
    To be honest there is nearly no economic transaction actually between jobs.

    - Doctor is a must have for every newcomer cause the regeneration time is a pain.
    - Blacksmith : Is a must have if you wanna compete at higher levels due to "Upgrade Weapon" (and it's simply the end game actually).
    - Cook : This job is just here to fill a gap, it got no use despite eating some Roasted Meat that heals for 70hp for 60sec cooldown (when you got 1000hp, it's laughtable, seeing the Doctors healing every 40sec twice of this amount).

    Here some idea I find interesting :
    - Rework the Doctor job - he could now make some Herbal Medicine (like HP Pills on Nin Online) with a 60 sec cooldown & can revive or cure the Death sickness.
    Having an improved Healing skill.

    - The Cook job - Could make Healing food giving buff for a duration (not actual useless recipe, with rare components for weak boots), and 40sec fast healing food based on Health and cost component !

    - The Blacksmith - Make ammo and upgrading weapons. Upgrades being usable for everyone, making the possibility for the crafter to make money from their job and not just using is own stuff.
    - Add a Technique (First Aid) everyone could use : Like the actual doctor's healing skill.

    For the moment, taking a specific job & class is so important and unbalanced that the game clearly turn on 2 main things : Being a Swordman/Blacksmith or re-create your character wich is not really a great idea for a MMO.

    Hey!
    In the south-west village, I tried at night to enter in a house. I got this dialogue:
    "it's finally the night, I can break in now" or something like that. The point is I didn't try to enter it during the day, and that was my first time trying. It could be a good thing to have to do something to trigger this dialogue.

    Marine faction needs this as soon as possible.

    This will be a quick suggestion, there is not much to say. 
    Marines needs a way to deal with Pirates who create Marine alts, to use them for a free rev since the Marines can't attack other Marines. We need higher ranked marines, or a justice branch being able to send any perpetrator on jail, or being able to exile them from the Marines. These are just examples, but there must be something done, some friends of mine had already an awful experience with this.

    1(Important).for new players a great warning when they reach level 10 that they can already choose their specialization and where they can choose it will help a lot to new players who still do not know where to get their specialization and know when they can get it
    2(Important).fixing the map switch as you should spawn a forward tile or making you unable to switch maps so fast 1 second colldown are two viable options
    3(Important).the instance of the new boss will allow you to enter with the people you are in party   4(Important). add animation to dash   5(Important).missions that give reputation that players between level 1-19 do not give experience

    quality of life functions

    1.make the wounds in the pj more quality of game in this and thus be able to differentiate more thoroughly that he has wounds or not and give more quality of life in the functions
    2.make boss kill quests count for players of any level as it helps them progress a bit better when soloing or just having a friend.
    3.more vivid colors when viewing drops and color in your inventory
    4.we put the background that the inventory has the same as the loot background, believe it or not, it's more dynamic that everything is similar and the design looks good like a pirate blade.
    5.distinguishable badge design between normal mobs and bosses
    6.add more paths to other maps and add more mobs maps like another boar map another marine and pirate mobs map, underground passageways so it's not just a single path to a place so we'll completely avoid the map change from camp making both two or three roads so that the conflict is not avoided so much add more texture of land also towards the second town and other places so that they are better guided that there are points of interest there the signs would also look good on the map and would guide to new players and aesthetically better visual and pleasing design

    Please make more servers (EU, Asia, etc)

    Player experience is greatly hindered by the fact. That the lag for players in different parts of the world is so widely different. A player in EU could think they're running, while, for the server, they're standing still while another player, closer phisically to the server, is beating the snot out of them. This is specially important given how PvP oriented this game is.
    I understand this is not easy nor cheap to do, however I believe this'd help create a more diverse and definitely better player experience for those outside of North America.

    Pirate Souls: Impression Updates

    After leveling a character to near max and playing two of the three classes I had some ideas to improve gameplay experience and tune some of the systems.
     
    Revamp professions system: Do not make professions a onetime selection instead make them three unique paths which can be trained and require resource and time investment to craft or heal well. This will still encourage teamwork because you can't invest in all three well at once therefore requiring your crew to split roles. However, it will create more end game content to grind for and prevent needless balancing of the professions (Locking content to a specific profession).
    Reputation Gain Level Req: Similar to the update which prevents power leveling there should be a required level for players to gain fame. Currently end game is just running around murdering every lowbee in sight so you can get a coat. The early experience with end game players now around 3 days in will be bad enough, don't incentivize mass murdering them. Include additional daily/weekly actives to grind rep as well.
    Sailing: Don't waste development time on boat battles, it will likely not work well. Making sailing an Oregon trail style random event driven experience that takes your and a limited number of crew from island to island. The system should include matchmaking with other sailing crews as a random event, as well as storms that take you to somewhere you didnt intend, NPC raiders, etc.

    Target System

    I have had this problem where i am using my target key while standing right next to a mob and it does not target that mob, i have to cycle through multiple other mobs just to target the mob that is closest to me even after pressing escape to reset the target.

    Another Mass Suggestion

    Features
    Warp Pads/Flicker Pads need a slightly more visible icon as some maps they are hard to see due to the tiles.
    Sacred Tree that drops a sacred tree leaf cooldown needs to be lowered to 30 minutes. It's currently an hour and makes the quest extra difficult since almost every level 40+ gets it. 
    Snipers need to be able to craft and/or buy a new type of ammo - fire, ice, explosive. Shrapnel.
    Fire rounds will inflict a slow burn for 3 ticks of 4 per tick Ice rounds will cause your opponent to move slower than normal. Each shot with an ice round would have a 15% chance to slow. Explosive rounds will do a small aoe damage when they hit an object or target. Maximum explosion damage could be 10 Shrapnel rounds should have a 10% chance to Interrupt/stagger whom ever hit.  New types of debuffs need to be added to the game and some of these stuns need to be removed. We need to add debuffs such as slow and knockback. Currently there are too many stuns and some are damn near unavoidable when combined with dash.
    New Civilian Faction:
    Bounty Hunters - this faction will spawn in the town and will basically be a middle ground faction. Neither marine or pirate you can choose which side you help or you can be a hired hand. You can even take on the two sides entirely. 
     
    Quality Of Life
    Marine faction has the ability to see the amount of people that are on in the alliance. I recommend allowing us to toggle whether we see Online, Offline, or All. Reasons being is because as the game grows more the alliance panel gets more cluttered and overwhelmed with several pages of people. 
     
    Crew Panel needs to be made similar to how the alliance panel is. There also should be buttons showing in this panel to invite, kick , promote, and demote members instead of having to right click there names
     
    Missions
    More high level mission diversity. With this suggestion if allowed I'll be more than happy to come up with some new quest not just for high levels but lower levels too to make the mission rng more diverse. 
    We need more missions though. Currently end game dailies everyone is getting the same mission and sometimes the same one 3 times and it happens very often. 
     
    Weekly Missions - in the Pirate Camp there should be 1 of the NPCs that give 1 weekly quest that can take you a week or a couple of days if you no life. (For Example: kill 50 Marines recruit or higher)
    Marines : Subdue 40 Pirates and make the lands safe again
    Bounty Hunter: Collect a total of 1000 bounty in berries.
    At the end of each week which would most likely be Sunday this mission would reset and you can grab another if you have turned in. Of course there will be several different types of missions. Kill 1000 monsters of X type, Kill 100 of X boss, and or collect 200 furs, raw meat, or etc. Rewards can be a nice size amount of berries for completing, good exp better than dailies somewhat, and more than average reputation for completing.
