We are considering this idea, but since we want to avoid adding complexity to the game I think just giving more use case to berries (like new cosmetics, weapons, etc) should be the way to go. And having the better item/cosmetics have reputations points requirement so you can't just buy berries to have everything you want.2 points

QoL: It is something we will do once the game will reaches a stable state for sure. In the early version of the game (before alpha). It used to work like this. Then we realized it was nearly impossible to land skill shot while chasing someone. It is something we could do once the game reach a stable state too. The problem with adding a map lock on death just for that specific issue is that every other people who died by doing something else will be frustrated unnecessarily. Noted Personal opinion: Improving the pvp to reward more skillful player is something planned in the next coming days. We want Soul Fruits to be rare, but we don't want people to think that they can't get it if they farm the bosses regularly. So we will keep the drop rate the same for now and see how it goes. I agree for the Soul Energy high drop rate. I believe that announcing when a boss spawn will remove part of the exploration in the game. The only reason why it is announced for Frio Po is that destroying a rock (a long process) is required.2 points

Thanks for your suggestions @kirisame, we plan to contact a Youtuber this summer. Hopefully it will help having new players. About your first 2 options, we tried to be active on some social media like Twitter and TikTok, but the result were not there. I believe it's because we didn't put enough time and effort on it. In the game current state, we prefer putting effort on game content rather than social media. We also tried Facebook Ads, people were reacting, but it was not converting them into new players. Maybe we will have the same issue with google ads. I believe Youtube creator may be the best option, since it's more organic and fit better this kind of game.1 point

@Farukon Ronbarudi Thank you for taking the time to write a detailed suggestion. It’s truly appreciated. Some of the elements you mentioned are already on our roadmap, although we may have a different approach to implementing them. Regarding your suggestion on passives, we plan to introduce a skill tree system in the future, and your idea of integrating passives into character stats is interesting and could add more depth to the game. We believe that passives in general are a great way to enhance gameplay and we will definitely consider implementing them. As for Haki, we intended it to be similar to what you suggested, but we didn't consider using passives. We will take your suggestion into account when working on it. About NPCs, as we add new quests, we will balance them. Will make sure to increase the speed of some at the same time. However, erratic movements are not a priority for us at the moment. We do have plans to improve the titles/achievements system. Making them give experience is a nice addition. Regarding the stat points, we want to maintain the freedom for players to choose how they allocate their stats. We don't plan to change the current system, because it will mean a lot of balance changes. However, we will work on making different types of stats more useful so that there are more viable builds. We believe that the mob gear system will contribute to this. Also, the level requirement for gear will make stronger players stand out from lower-level ones. Your Notorious Crews Event is similar to the village invasion event that we already have. We could do something like that at Marines’ Fortress. I really like the idea of giving experience for PVP fights. I am surprised I didn't think of it earlier. We will definitely add that to the game. Basic attacks having effects is something planned. Will come soon or later I guess. New weapons such as bombs and molotovs sounds interesting. If we add them, they will likely be available at Marines' Fortress. As you may expect, ship system is planned. Your suggestions are nice, but we don’t know yet what will be possible to do regarding that. The elements I did not mention are what I consider should not be prioritized considering what we have planned. Nevertheless, we may look into them in the future. @Noun This is a very interested idea. I can see a new specialization using aim stat as main stat being implemented. Will require a lot of work to make it happen indeed, but putting it as planned for now so it's still on sight. Can definitely help the game to be more unique.1 point

Could be a nice way to implement a referral system, but here's how we plan to implement it: Someone register with a referral link. Once he reach X level, the one who referred him receive a gift. We could also add a gift if that person connect to our discord.1 point

Like this suggestion and how it improves the economy, the game longevity and gives another purpose to factions wars. Once we are done with improving the new players experience it is definitely something we will try to integrate in the game!1 point

Hello, Zoom feature would be complicated to implement right now. A solution to your issue would be to reduce the resolution of the game while using fullscreen. Everything will be upscaled that way.1 point

I also think we have to rework the current faction war system so it's more engaging for players. We may give a little malus to the other faction if they lost the fight. We may also give more times to player to be able to defend before the rock is broken. What do you think @Dona? For now we don't want to edit too much the faction war or implement another one, before the game is more solid with what it already has.1 point

Right now, you can use your achievements to gain more stats if your control Rhum Island, but I can definitely see how some of the points you mentioned will improve the game experience. Will definitely work on this1 point

I do understand that it will be a MASSIVE rework from your current Faction War system But faced with the fact that no one really goes out of their way currently to go and defend attacks from either side means not many really care about "WAR" part The only function that they care about is getting "ACCESS" to the faction houses There can always be a MIDDLE GROUND to what players want and what the developers would want! We can put heads together and meet that middle ground as to why I and many other players want this System to be in place is to create more Player PvP , more ways of accessing Keys and the biggest reason being , a system like this will bring in ALOT of players! , New ones and bringing back the Players that wanted content updates This system is undeniably a grind fest and so it should be like that for players and so you will ALWAYS have a CONSISTENCY of player counts being high Please don't shut down this idea, other Automated Event's will never have the same impact as this would please! I truly expect alot from this game even though you guys are a small team, but that come's from Love and the Hour's me and my friends are willing to put in to support the game! For the Middle Ground ideas let's keep Quoting here Shenmue, maybe bring in Dona as well! , would love more of your guy's thoughts in this! My Idea would be to... Keep the Faction Houses, I love this system as it allows u guys to explore options of Player Progression outside of the norm with a new War System in place, there needs to be another one in place for these Faction House? or Just integrate it with that Automated System? like After the battle Vice Admirals + / Pirate Rank Equivalent can and would be able to Capture 1 Island for the DURATION they have "WON" the Faction War More than 1 Island can be captured at once if the Faction that won the last War Wins again so like if Marines keeps on winning over and over , The Pirates basically won't have any other way of taking over an Island1 point

@Donawith that statement we need to make sure keys don't ever trade LOL. Because key maker can trade keys for Rep. which if we could trade keys, like some nincompoop (me) suggested we should be able to trade keys LOL1 point

We were thinking of allowing keys in crew banks. That would mean that you would be able to indirectly "trade" a key to your crew mate. Bu we are not sure about that yet since keys were designed to not be tradable.1 point

Mobs drop having more utilities like cosmetics is planned for the future. It takes time to do and might not greatly increase the new players experience, so we would rather do it once the game is more stable.1 point

We are currently working on improving the server performance. An update should come soon to help reduce the rubber banding. Regarding mobs using blink steps, it is something that we don't want to do often. We also believe that giving them stronger skills instead of blink step make them funnier to farm.1 point

Thanks for the suggestion, it was very interesting to read! As a general response, I can say that we agree that there is a need of a gold sink when reaching end game. New cosmetics are on their way and will cost more berries. Idea 2: New ammo are planned with the arrival of new weapons. idea 3: unfortunately, Souls Fruit awakening are still a long way to go. idea 4: peace mode user most not be involved in pvp idea 5: Sounds good for the future! idea 6: planned! Idea 7: I don’t think that money should increase strength that easily In any case, we will make berries more valuable for sure!1 point

Very nice suggestion! I bet you will be happy to know that we are already working on a weapon for fighters and haki is going to be added in game in the future! Regarding the class specialization, it is something that we thought about and decided not to do for now because it adds a layer of complexity to the combat system that we are not sure that it is necessary.1 point

I feel called out as for being he one saying "maybe this game isn't for you" because I thought maybe this game isn't for me. Yet here I am, it's a little grindy, but so is my IRL job. If it can fail to manifest a fruit from pvp interaction, it should just roll every hour until one is claimed max1/day or something. maybe make the fruit drain health 1/second from everyone in the area to sustain the fruit. Maybe energy instead? cool idea!1 point

Really like most of the suggestions. The weekly missions one seems pretty nice. Quality of Life for the marine alliance window is planned too but once we get a load off our priority list. Regarding the other features I will see with Shenmue what can be done.1 point
