Terms of Service
Please carefully read all of the following terms of service. By accessing, browsing, using, or registering for Pirate Souls you acknowledge that you have read, agree, and understood the following terms, including future modifications. If you do not agree or understand all of these terms, then you may not access or use Pirate Souls in any way.

1. Privacy Policy

2. Prohibited Conduct - Forum and Game Rules
By using or accessing Pirate Souls you agree to our game's rules and regulations. You may read them here.

3. Modifications to these Terms
Pirate Souls reserves the right to change, modify, add, or remove these Terms of Service at any time. It is your responsibility to check these Terms and any Guidelines periodically for changes. Your continued use of Pirate Souls after the posting of changes constitutes your binding acceptance of such changes. If changes occur Pirate Souls will attempt to notify all users within a reasonable time frame, via email, forums, or game client.

4. Eligibility
Pirate Souls is not available to persons under the age of 13 (unless granted permission by a parent or legal guardian) or to anyone suspended or removed from Pirate Souls by the Pirate Souls Team. You must also acknowledge that each Pirate Souls account may be used by only 1 person.

5. Ownership
You acknowledge and agree that you have no ownership or property interest in any account or information stored on a Pirate Souls system or server, including but not limited to, Pirate Souls accounts, in game credit, and any in-game currency or items.

6. Messaging and Chat
Pirate Souls accepts no responsibility in regards to the content of any messages, posts, private messages, or other means of communication within Pirate Souls. Pirate Souls does not endorse and has no control over the content of messages submitted by others to the forums or game client. Messages are not reviewed prior to them being posted or sent. Pirate Souls reserves the right to prevent members from submitting content to the forums or game chat and to edit, restrict or remove such messages for any or no reason at any time. You acknowledge that Pirate Souls may store any means of communication within Pirate Souls (chat messages, private messages, forum posts, etc) at any time, for any reason. This stored information will only be revealed to legal authorities or in a case where Pirate Souls believes doing so will protect the privacy or safety of you or others.

7. Prohibited Uses
Any use of Pirate Souls other than for private, non-commercial use is prohibited. You acknowledge you will not use Pirate Souls for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by these terms. You may not use Pirate Souls in any manner that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair it or interfere with any other member's use and enjoyment of Pirate Souls. You may not attempt to gain unauthorized access to Pirate Souls, or any part of them, other accounts, computer systems or networks connected to Pirate Souls, or any part of them, through any means. You may not obtain or attempt to obtain any materials or information through any means not intentionally made available through Pirate Souls. You agree neither to modify Pirate Souls in any manner or form, nor to use modified versions of Pirate Souls. You are not to buy/sell/trade or lend accounts for any amount of time that you own.

8. Virtual Currency and Donations
During your time on Pirate Souls you may accumulate in-game money, in-game credit, and virtual goods. These are fictional currencies only to be used within Pirate Souls, and have no real world value. You may, in Pirate Soul's sole discretion, exchange in-game credits or in-game cash for items, services, or access to other specific content not otherwise available. The items, services or access to other content not otherwise available without in-game credits or in-game cash may be discontinued or modified at any time by Pirate Souls at its sole discretion.
 

• You acknowledge you have no right to transfer any virtual goods or currencies within Pirate Souls for anything outside of Pirate Souls.


• You acknowledge that virtual goods and currencies within Pirate Souls are property of Pirate Souls, and that Pirate Souls reserves the right to modify, remove, or add virtual goods or currencies, including donation credits, to any account, at any time, for any or no reason.


• You acknowledge that all donations made to Pirate Souls are non-refundable and in the case of an unauthorized chargeback your account(s) will be terminated.


• You acknowledge that in the case of account termination that donations, virtual goods, and in-game currencies will not be refunded.


• You acknowledge that you may not under any circumstances initiate a chargeback or dispute via a third party payment processor without Pirate Soul's express written consent. Doing so is a violation of this agreement and may result account termination and/or legal action.

9. Third Party Sites and Services
Pirate Souls may include links to other web sites or services as a convenience to members. Pirate Souls does not endorse any such linked sites, nor the information or services provided by those sites. Pirate Souls makes no express or implied warranties with regard to the information, material, products, or services that are contained on or accessible through linked sites. Accessing these linked sites is done so at your own risk, and you acknowledge that Pirate Souls shall not be responsible or liable for any loss or damage caused or alleged to be caused by your use of any linked site.

10. Termination
You agree that Pirate Souls, in its sole discretion and for any or no reason, may terminate your (or any part of) account. This includes any and all virtual currencies, in-game items (virtual goods), and donation credits. You agree that Pirate Souls may do so without any prior notice.

11. Disclaimers
Pirate Souls and any third party software or services made available with Pirate Souls are provided "as is", "as available" without warranties of any kind. Pirate Souls do not warrant that the functions contained in Pirate Souls will be error-free, uninterrupted, that bugs or defects will be corrected. In no event shall Pirate Souls be liable for any damages (including, without limitation, damages for loss of data or profit, or due to business interruption,) arising out of the use or inability to use the materials on Pirate Souls, even if a Pirate Souls authorized representative has been notified or in writing of the possibility of such damage. Because some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on implied warranties, or limitations of liability for consequential or incidental damages, these limitations may not apply to you.
